02 February 2018, Hong Kong Community of Fuzhou Associations celebrated its establishment in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Chairman Leung Chun-ying of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Liaison Office Deputy Director Ho Ching, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC FuJian Province and FuZhou Municipal Party Committee Secretary Wang Ning, to be the Guest of Honor. Leaders in politics and business coronal lid gather, with more than 2000 guests witnessed the leasers sworn in of the elected leaders.
More than 10 Associations and fraternities initiated Hong Kong Community of Fuzhou Associations, including Hong Kong Foochow Association Ltd, Hong Kong Fujian Overseas Chinese Association, Hong kong Fuqing, Lianjiang, ChangLe, Tingjiang, Mawei, Pingtan Association. The fraternities pursue the concept of “ coordination and cooperation, Cohesion, innovation”, to serve the Hong Kong Fuzhou Folks as focus, following the purpose of “ Great Unity, Grand Alliance, Greater tolerance, Large-scale cooperation, Great creation, Great development, large service”. The Associations has 10 operation and organization chart. All the members are amicably attempt to make the associations become the best organization in Hong Kong.
On the 20th anniversary of the Hong Kong’s return, by proposing of Fujian leaders, Hong Kong Community of FuZhou Associations keeping with the trend of the time and organized successfully. All the members elected the presidents, Yu Pei-di taking office in president and first Chairman, there are 4 leaders appointed as the Honorary Forever President of the Hong Kong Community of FuZhou Associations, including the Chairman of Fuyao Group Cho Tak-wang and the Chairman of Citychamp Mr. Hon. They will lead the FuJian Province Associations to make the large contribution to the prosperity and development of the society.
Wang Ning pointed that Hong Kong Fujian associations support the policy of “ One country Two Systems”, sustain the government of sar to obey the laws and make contribution to the long term prosperity of Hong Kong, lead the association held the great flag of patriotism, shoulder the duty of the social responsibility, make greater contribution to Hong Kong and Fuzhou development.
During the ceremony, the Vice Executive Secretary of China Overseas Friendship Association Qiu Yu issued the certificate of honor and souvenir for Mr. Hon Kwok Lung for his efforts to the Hong kong Community of Fu Zhou Associations, his donation of 10 million Hong Kong Dollor and helping the underprivileged to integrate the Hong Kong society system.
